You won't be taking a chance with a Cherished MINI. In fact, we guarantee you'll take home a car that's been seriously looked after. Every Cherished MINI is closely examined by MINI Technicians. They're put through detailed checks - including a full road test - and if any problems are found, they're fixed using genuine MINI parts. So all factory-fitted equipment will be in full working order and your tyres will have a minimum tread of 3mm. Your MINI's paintwork and trim are restored to suit its age and mileage, and it has a full valet before you get it.
This covers all Cherished MINIs, and it's really worthwhile because it isn't backed by a third party company - it's backed by MINI. Our Cherished Warranty even guarantees the battery and exhaust system for 12 months, and includes 12 months MOT Insurance. We've developed these features because car buyers have been asking for them, and because we want you to know your MINI will be just fine. In fact, the MINI Cherished Warranty is so good, and so close to the Warranty we give people who buy our new cars, that the only things that aren't covered are routine service items like brake pads and discs. Your MINI Dealer can answer any other questions you might have.
Because of all these checks and tests, a MINI Cherished car won't need an MOT for at least 12 months (excluding Northern Ireland), and your 12 months MOT Insurance will protect you against any unexpected costs. That includes repairing and replacing specific components. In addition, if your MINI comes with a MINI Dealer Warranty with more than 12 months cover left, that's how long the MOT Insurance will last, too. Best of all, it's free!
Cherished MINIs have to be in top form to qualify for our seal of approval! As well as being serviced to proper MINI standards, any car that needs a service within 4,000 miles gets one before being given to you.
This makes sure your MINI hasn't been stolen or written-off, and isn't subject to any outstanding finance agreements. You'll get a certificate to prove it. (Sorry, but we can't verify the history for cars registered outside the UK before being imported.)

This gives you 24 hour assistance for motoring emergencies throughout the UK and continental Europe. It's unlikely that your Cherished MINI will break down, but if it does, we'll look after you, your passengers and your car. MINI Emergency Service to the rescue! Any issues you experience whilst travelling abroad with your MINI, even if you encounter a legal or medical problem, the MINI Emergency Service multilingual team will be able to provide you with practical advice. If you get ill and you've got to be back in Blighty, but you're the only driver, we'll sort it. We'll even make sure your MINI, passengers and all your gear get back safely too.
We're completely confident in all the MINIs in the Cherished programme. So much so that if anything goes wrong in the first 30 days or 1,000 miles of your ownership (whichever is sooner), and we can't sort it out, you're entitled to an exchange. And if we can't do that, we'll refund you. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

If you choose a MINI that has MINI tlc vouchers left over from the previous owner, you can use these to keep your car fully serviced. MINI tlc is a voucher system we offer our customers when they buy a new MINI, which give you five years or 50,000 miles servicing - (whichever comes first*) for free.
Here's what else it does:
• MINI tlc gives you fixed-cost/inflation-proof servicing throughout the policy
• Your MINI's service history will get MINI Dealer service stamps, which will improve its value when you sell it
• MINI tlc is fully transferable. If you sell your car before you've used all the vouchers, the new owner can use them. All they have to do is register themselves at their local MINI Dealer as the new owner - this also improves the value of your car.
