Audi range gets greener

Audi is cleaning up the premium sector with its latest addition, the manufacturer claims.
Audi claims to be cleaning up the premium sector now that it has upgraded its A3 2.0 TDI.The latest version of the auto now comes equipped with start-stop technology, while the three-door and five-door Sportback and Cabriolet versions have a reduced CO2 output of 16 per cent.
In addition, drivers of used Audis may be tempted by the A3 2.0 TDI, since it can make zero to 62 mph in 8.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 130 mph.
With regard to fuel efficiency, the model runs on 64.2 mpg and has a CO2 output of 115 g/km.
These figures previously stood at 55.4 mpg and 134 g/km respectively.
"The ongoing Audi crackdown on emissions has yielded another efficiency breakthrough within the A3 range," the company stated.
