Citroen DS3 alternative to Mini
03 February 2010
The new Citroen DS3 could provide an alternative to those thinking about purchasing a BMW Mini.
Those who currently a BMWMini may want to upgrade their model to the Citroen DS3 when it comes onto the used car market. The new model has been compared to the compact hatchback in reviews and will be suitable for those looking for a more sporty appearance, with four different roof colours and graphics to choose from.
Coming with a 1.6-litre engine, the DS3 Diesel and DS3 Sport are both available at reduced prices when compared to the Mini, despite the fact that the Citroen is slightly longer and offers more boot space at 285 litres.
Geraldine Ashton Green wrote for Motorist.co.uk: "The Citroen DS3 will stand out in the crowd with its eye catching face and upmarket LED running lights merged with the distinctive Citroen double chevron on the bonnet and a deep grill."
Independent motoring adviser honestjohn.co.uk recently claimed that people looking to buy used cars are likely to have more choice in 2010 as the slump in the vehicle market subsides.
