As the Focus RS model finally reaches the end of production, Ford has thought of an exceptional way to commemorate that. The blue oval company is delighted to release the special edition WRC-style wheel, available for just £500 per group, including VAT.
The 19-inch alloy wheels give the award-winning Focus RS a look closer to the company car used by Finnish rally driver Mikko Hirvonen.
"The demand for Focus RS has been astounding. In barely a year since launch, we have sold almost our entire UK allocation - thanks in a large part to this Focus RS continuing the proud tradition of combining high-performance with practicality and affordability", said David Calder, Product Manager of Ford of Britain.
"We expect demand to be high for these last cars and we're giving customers the chance to personalise them with this exclusive option", added Calder.
The badge of Focus RS stands for Rallye Sport and represents Ford Focus' high-performance version placed on top of the ST model within the Focus lineup. The car is the second generation RS and features a Duratec engine that can generate 305PS and 440Nm of torque.
The Focus RS can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in less than six seconds. Despite its power, it remains front wheel drive, however it uses a specifically designed MacPherson strut suspension and a Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing LSD at the front, called RevoKnuckle, in order to cut torque steer.
The Focus RS is available in three exterior colours - Frozen White, Performance Blue and Ultimate Green, and the recently released wheel option will go perfectly with the sporty look of the car.
