The highly popular Lotus Evora was the inspiration for the awe-inspiring carbon model concept presented during the 2010 Geneva motor show. The car features a classy carbon fibre, alcantara and leather interior, a high-quality carbon diffuser, and a beautiful, cutting-edge composite body.
The Lotus Evora Carbon Concept re-affirms Lotus celebrated name in motor sport, boasting of stunning first-class materials with lavish alcantara and exposed carbon fibre. This remarkable concept car has a sophisticated water-based pearlescent paint finish that stands out against the elegantly finished weave on the carbon fibre panels.
The striking Evora Carbon Concept car was designed to appear lower and more forceful, giving off a firmer, more resolute stance. This styling trend can also be seen in its structural carbon fibre roof, Lotus Motorsport-inspired carbon splitter and carbon diffuser. It features the same top-of-its-class handling and the advanced aluminium extruded and bonded chassis seen in the production car.
The concept cars modern interior mixes the sleekness of its carbon panels with matt alcantara and perforated leather. The custom-made interior features luxurious grey alcantara covering the roof, dashboard and footwell. The soft texture of the alcantara and leather are contrasted with the tough carbon fibre surfaces, leaving a fulfilling sensory experience.
It also features a diamond cut forged 19-inch alloy rear and front wheels, covered in Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres (285/30 wide rear and 235/35 wide front).
The design of the Evora Carbon Concept car features exotic, high tech materials that offer a good synergy with the Lotus brand image, expressing our motor sport heritage and history of stylish sports cars for which Lotus are renowned, stated Lotus Design Director Donato Coco.
