Lotus received praise for two of its vehicles at the recent EVO Awards.
Drivers of new and used Lotuses may be happy to hear that the marque walked away with two EVO awards at a recent ceremony. The Lotus Evora was given the title Car of the Year 2009 following a series of tests undertaken alongside its competitors on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

Commenting on the auto, John Barker, motoring editor, said it is a "magical" car, "with exceptional poise and feel".
"Getting into it after any of the other finalists, it was even better than I remembered: a bit smoother, a bit quicker and even sweeter dynamically, too.
"It's a beguiling car."
Meanwhile, the Lotus 2-Eleven won the EVO Track Car of the Year 2009 prize, a category that saw motors compete on the West Circuit and judged on their entertainment value and the extent to which they provided a rewarding and challenging drive.
