Kia has completely overhauled its new Sorento with a new bodyshell being designed.
Sleek styling and a futuristic touch are just two of the developments made to the new Kia Sorento, it has been revealed. The vehicle has been unleashed at the Seoul Motor Show, with used car buyers getting to witness the many appearance changes that it has undergone.
Kia has opted for a bold frontal design with the Sorento, as the vehicle uses the manufacturer's new 'signature grille' alongside a completely redesigned bodyshell.
Building on the developments of the new shell, which is aimed at holding seven occupants, Kia also had a tight focus on areas including more fun-to-drive responsiveness and class-leading performance.
Peter Schreyer, chief design officer of Kia Motors Corporation, said: "The dynamic design of new Sorento adopts simple, linear lines to create a powerful, yet polished appearance.
"Sporty and striking, the new Sorento represents a new breed of vehicle."
A longer bodyshell and extended tailgate also help to create more room in the cabin, while buyers can benefit from a reversing safety camera and built-in satnav.
What Car? indicated in a review of the Kia Sorento that the vehicle is "easily up to the job of towing or taking a trip off-road".
