Seat has described its new Leon Cupra R as "brutally powerful".
Drivers of used cars who appreciate a powerful motor may look forward to the day when they can purchase Seat's latest model from a second-hand dealer.The manufacturer has described the engine underneath the bonnet of the Leon Cupra R as "brutally powerful".
Equipped with a 265 PS 2.0 TSI turbocharged petrol unit, the model is capable of accelerating from zero to 62 mph in 6.1 seconds and boasts a top speed of 155 mph.
The group suggested the fact the motor offers this level of power makes it all the more surprising that it is also able to achieve almost 35 mpg.
Seat highlighted the fact the auto's engine provides the same output as the Leon that claimed victory in the TDI World Touring Car Championship.
The model is scheduled to make its debut next month at the Frankfurt International Motor Show.
Meanwhile, Seat recently described its latest Altea advertising campaign as "edgy".
