Porsche Introduces Two New Versions of the Panamera

After the successful introduction of Porsche Panamera in 2009, Porsche announced that it will launch two new Gran Turismo versions, the Porsche Panamera 4 and the Porsche Panamera.
After the successful introduction of Porsche Panamera in 2009, Porsche announced that it will launch two new Gran Turismo versions, the Porsche Panamera 4 and the Porsche Panamera. The two will be included in the Panamera range and will debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April. The company will start deliveries of both models to UK buyers in June 2010.
Both models are powered by a latest Porsche-designed 3.6-litre V6 that features Direct Fuel Injection producing 300 hp maximum output and 400 Nm peak torque. The V6 engine, which features a 90o V-angle, sits comfortably under the sleek bonnet. The Porsche Panamera is transmitting power to the road through the rear wheels, while the Porsche Panamera 4 has active all-wheel drive.
The Porsche Panamera, which is fitted with Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe double-clutch gearbox including Auto Start/Stop, can provide 30.4 mpg on the combined cycle with an impressive 218g/km CO2 emission. The Porsche Panamera 4 can generate 29.4 mpg on the combined cycle with 225g/km CO2 emission.
The Panamera models are fitted with standard equipment, including Bi-Xenon headlamps, heated front seats, rear and front ParkAssist, automatic dimming rearview mirrors, tyre pressure monitoring, Porsche Communication Management, and cruise control.
The prices of Porsche Panamera range will start from 61,461 pounds for the Panamera, to 66,929 pounds for the Panamera 4 including VAT.
Every Porsche Panamera is equipped with a Porsche Vehicle Tracking System, an advanced vehicle security system approved to Thatcham Category 5 standard. Buyers can also learn more about their new car by attending the complimentary course offered by the company at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone.
