This year the Renault Clio, one of the best loved and most iconic mini-cars in Britain marks its 20th year of production.

Throughout its career spanning over two decades, the Clio has been among the top-selling superminis of all time, snatching in excess of 10 million worldwide sales in over 100 countries, including more than one million in the UK alone.

To celebrate its birthday in style, Renault S.A. has unveiled a topnotch special edition, aptly dubbed the Clio 20th.

The five-door coupe provides a wealth of style and luxury items to reflect the cars sophisticated appeal.

This new version is easily recognised through its unique 20th badge located on the B pillars. The stunning gloss black finish of the front bumper mouldings, precise details on the body-coloured side mouldings that contrast with the body-colour door handles, and the door mirrors are some of the few distinct features of the new Clio. Meanwhile, in the Pearl Black model, these features come with an anthracite grey finish. Both versions are fitted with stylish 16-inch Lyria alloy wheels plus extra tinted rear tailgate and windows.

Inside the cabin, the control panel features a centre console, dashboard inserts and zinc grey air vent surrounds. The Clio 20th is furnished with Carminat TomTom satellite navigation, cruise control, climate control, folding and electrically adjustable door mirrors, Renault hands free card, speed limiter, electric rear and front windows, four speakers, USB connection, and 4?20W radio/CD/MP3 player with Bluetooth.

The Clio 20th comes in four engines choices, 1.5 dCi 106, 1.5 dCi 86, 1.2 TCe 100, and 1.6 VVT 128. The first three engines are offered under Renaults eco 2 banner.

On sale in Britain now, the Clio 20th models are priced from 14,671 pounds on-the-road for the 1.2 TCe 100, up to 16,393 pounds for the 1.5 dCi 106.
