Subaru Impreza 330S is very good indeed
04 March 2009
The Subaru Impreza 330S looks great and is generally very good, according to a review.
Although the feedback has not all been positive for the latest Subaru Impreza, the 330S version is "very good indeed", a review has concluded.Writing for Car Magazine, Ben Barry states that the 330S benefits over the WRX STI thanks to the inclusion of 18-inch five-spoke alloys, a DVD satnav and leather Recaro seats.
Mr Barry opts to compare the vehicle with his own Mitsubishi Evo X FQ-360, with the 330S having a "nicer, slicker gear change".
Also, he indicates that the "ride is better" and the steering is more "progressive".
In terms of performance, the vehicle has the capacity to reach a top speed of 155 miles per hour, while accelerating to 62 miles per hour from standstill in 4.8 seconds.
Overall, Mr Barry argues that the vehicle "looks great and is more fun to drive than the Evo", although it will not single-handedly change the perception some have of the new Impreza as a whole.
A review of the Subaru Impreza WRX STi 330S by Channel Four concluded that among the vehicle's assets is that it "rides well" and has "imposing wide-hipped looks".
