Used BMW 3 Series could leave the competition trailing

Motorists looking for a used BMW that leaves its rivals behind may want to consider an award-winning 3 Series model.

The range's open top was recently named Best Convertible by the magazine Auto Express.

According to the publication, the vehicle outshines rivals in the same class.

Commenting on the model, it stated: "It leaves the competition trailing with its agility, grip and balance, while the engine range includes BMW's potent petrol and diesel units."

Meanwhile, the saloon from the same line up took the crown in the Best Compact Executive Car category, with Auto Express describing the vehicle as "unbeatable".

Earlier this year, the group's 318d model was named the number one executive motor at the What Car? green awards.

In other news, another BMW model due out in October could be a vehicle for drivers of used cars to consider in the future.

The manufacturer suggested its X1 would appeal to people who appreciate elegant lines.
