Used Suzuki Swift is a smart choice

Used Suzuki Swift is a smart choice

02 September 2009

Suzuki has claimed people who buy used Swift models are making a wise decision.

Car buyers who opt for a used Suzuki Swift are making an "intelligent choice", it has been claimed.

The manufacturer issued this statement after revealing Glass's Guide recently highlighted the model's strong residual value.

A three-year-old example of the auto that has covered 39,000 miles can reportedly be expected to fetch 59.5 per cent of its original price tag.

Suzuki pointed out this is better than the Volkswagen Fox, Honda Jazz, Citroen C1 and Mini.

It claimed this proves "a Swift is an intelligent choice as either a new, scrappage or used purchase".

Meanwhile, a limited edition version of the model arrived in UK showrooms earlier this week (September 1st).

The SZ-L is based on the 1.3-litre, five-door variation of the auto but boasts higher levels of standard equipment.

Numbers of the car are to be limited to 500.

In related motoring news, Suzuki recently launched a new four-door SX4 saloon, priced from £11,895.
