Used Volvo C70s may start coming down in price

01 September 2009

Volvo is to release a new version of the C70 next year.

Motorists may find they are able to secure a competitive price on a used Volvo C70 early next year.

This is because the updated version of the vehicle is due to be released towards the beginning of 2010.

According to the manufacturer, it has made significant changes to the auto.

It explained the car's front wings have been redesigned in order to give the nose of the vehicle a distinctive wedge-shape.

As well as this, the bonnet and grille have been changed so that they now meet at a V angle.

Buyers can also expect to notice a difference inside the auto.

Fedde Talsma, exterior chief designer, said: "We have ... increased the exclusiveness of the interior materials and trim details to enhance the feeling of luxury."

Meanwhile, this year sees Volvo celebrate the 50th anniversary of an important safety invention.

In 1959, the manufacturer launched the three-point seatbelt - which is believed to have saved one million lives across the world.
