How can Autoweb advertise my vehicle for FREE – what’s the catch?

There is no catch whatsoever! Autoweb is a FREE public service. We receive our revenue from the Motor Industry. All that we ask is that you browse our stock to see if you can find your next Motor. For Trade enquiries please call 01757 701010.

How do I put a vehicle for sale on Autoweb?

To add a vehicle onto Autoweb simply Click the “Add a Vehicle” tab located at the top of the Welcome page to access the Upload page.
From there simply enter your vehicles details in the boxes numbered 1 to 17.
Your Registration Number is not shown on the site or used by us in anyway.
The “Mileage” (Box 12) and “Additional Info” (Box 17) are optional.
When you have reached Box 17 Click “Submit Vehicle”. Your vehicle is now on Autoweb and you will be re-directed to a screen where you can Add an Image, View your Advert or Make any Changes.

Adding an image to your advert is optional but adverts with an image always seem to have more success. Don’t worry if you do not yet have an image as you can come back and add one at a later date.

To add an image simply click “Add an Image” and then the “Browse” button to search your computer for your image. When you have found one Click the “Upload Image” button for your image upload to begin.

Please Note: Be Patient - All images are compressed to a sensible size for the internet. The time it takes to upload your image will depend on your original image size and the speed of your internet connection.

How do I view my current vehicle add?

You can view your advert by simply clicking on the "View the Advert" button which is located on your "View my Vehicles" Page.

What does variant mean in the description?

Variant is basically any other details of the car that can’t be put in the make and model for instance:
Make= Volkswagen
Model= Golf
Variant= 1.8 GT TDi

How long does it take for my car to appear on Autoweb?

Your car will appear almost instantaneously on Autoweb.

How long is the car advertised on the site for?

Your car is advertised for three months, then it is taken off. The reason being is if someone sells their car but then doesn’t take it off it will still be generating them calls. You can re-add your vehicle again if it hasn’t sold and it is still FREE!

How do I view my advert on the Autoweb site?

To view your advert on Autoweb, simply enter our car section and use the search engine to find your vehicle and then click “More Details”.

How do I retrieve an advert to delete it?

When you revisit Autoweb and log in you will enter into our “Welcome to Autoweb” page. From here Click “View my Vehicles” to see a list of your current adverts. Click on the “Go to Delete” button. You will then be taken to a page where you can remove your advert by clicking the “Delete Vehicle” button.

How do I retrieve an advert to edit it?

When you revisit Autoweb and log in you will enter into our “Welcome to Autoweb” page. From here Click “View my Vehicles” to see a list of your current adverts. Click on the “Go to Edit ” button. You will then be taken to a page where you can edit your advert.

How do I add an image at a later date or change an existing one?

What if the Make or Model of the vehicle I wish to advertise is not on Autoweb?

If you can not find the Make or Model of the vehicle you wish to advertise then let us know. Simply email your vehicles details to publicload@autoweb.co.uk or use our “Support & Suggestions” form. If the vehicle is genuine we will place your advert for you and then submit the details into our search engine so that future users can find it.

How do I request assistance from Autoweb?

If you experience any difficulties or have any useful suggestions then please let us know. This will help us to improve our system for future users. How do I log out?

To Log out simply Click the “Log Out” Button located at the top middle of every page
