BUILT TO PERFECTION

Our Rating: No Rating Available

The Aston martin has been around for ninety plus years but none of its previous models have been as successful as the DB series, with the now out of production DB7 made popular by our most loved spy.

The Aston Martin DB9 uses a radical new aluminum-bonded body frame, and is one of the most technically advanced and sophisticated cars in the world. Hand built from scratch the Aston Martin DB9 is drop dead gorgeous, with sexy lines and looks. The Aston Martin DB9 is hand built making it an exotic masterpiece not just in looks but also in performance. Produced at the state of the art facility in Warwickshire, DB9 launches the Aston Martin into a new era of exotic high performance car production.

The Aston Martin DB9 comes in two variants, the coupe and the convertible version called the Volante which means “flying” in Italian. The DB9 comes with a light weight aluminum body and a powerful 5.9 litre V12 engine which enables it to reach 0 – 60 in a mere 4.6 seconds. When going for a car especially one that you pay the big bucks for, you want options, and the DB9 is not limited to just body options but also to the drive system which comes in a six speed manual or a six speed automatic gear box. The Aston Martin DB9 goes round corners with such fluidity unknown to many sport cars and the feel of an over steer might surface only at speeds of 100 miles per hour round the bends.

The sexy looks of the 2010 DB9 gets all five stars in most review pages from the sexy headlights to the voluptuous behind of the car. If looks could kill the DB9 is worth dying for. The DB9 comes with standard features such as HID head lights, Power folding side mirrors, 19 – inch alloy wheels, Rear parking sensors.

The interior of the DB9 is classy and posh, with heated handcrafted leather seats that comfortable seat two in front and uncomfortably seat two at the back, but hey what do you expect it’s a sports car. The cars also comes with automatic climate control, blue tooth, an ipod dock, navigational system, a six disc changer and many other futures and guess what, o yes it comes with an umbrella mounted at the boot, truly British indeed.

With less than 5000 units produced annually the DB9 is indeed a classic from the exterior to the interior, the hand crafted parts leave you in speechless. The price tag for the DB9 might be daunting, but quality and class come at a price, and the DB9 is worth the price.

At a starting price of £103,000 the Aston Martin DB9 is quite expensive but one should remember it is a hand built machine that handles like a dream and it is worth every penny that goes in. It is a delight for both cruisers and those that have a “need for speed” craving.
