We push out the old because of the new but if and only if the new is better than the old. Looking at the new generation of Audi TT, you would agree with me that the old is nothing near the new. The new TT Coupe is more dynamic than its predecessor - in terms of its design, its drive-train, and its running gear.
The design of the TT 3.2 V6 Quattro is effortlessly stylish. The body is made of aluminum and steel. The larger percentage of the structure is made of aluminum. The rear of the car is made of steel, this help to ensure balanced distribution of the axle loads. The new TT appears to be longer than its predecessor, embodying the style, power and stability of a super machine.
The interior of the TT 3.2 V6 blends Germanic style with tremendous build quality. The cockpit is oriented strictly to the driver and is perfectly ergonomic in design. Everything is at the right place, thereby, improving driving experience. The dash is angled towards the driver, and the seats are mounted low, cocooning the driver; and the three-spoke steering wheel has a racy flat bottom.
Some features of the new Audi TT3.2 V6 include aluminum finished steering wheel spokes, same with many of the controls with dark grey, soft touch plastics everywhere. It is lifted by chrome trims around the air vents and red and white illuminations for the dials and buttons, automatic air conditioning system and a flat-bottomed sports steering wheel which make sliding in and out of the car easy.
It comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, up-rated brakes, chrome-detailed headlamps and tinted rear lights, Napa leather upholstery with heated front seats. Furthermore, it is installed with Audi Magnetic Ride, ESP with a sport mode, bright xenon lights, bespoke bumpers and a smattering of TTS livery.
The 3.2 V6 Quattro, like its predecessor, is as a 2 + 2-seater. It has a basic luggage capacity of the 290 liters in its easily accessible boot. This capacity can be increased to 700 liters by folding down the rear seat backs. The sports seats provide outstanding side restraint.
The Audi 3.2 V6 Quattro is fast. The sonorous-sounding, naturally aspirated 3.2-liter V6 engine develops 250 bhp, accelerating from zero to 60 mph in about 5.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 155 mph which is electronically governed. It has a Maximum torque of 320.00 Nm at 1800 Rev. per min
The new Audi TT 3.2 V6 Quattro marks the premiere of a new generation of audio systems. It is characterized by state-of-the-art reception and playback technology and intuitive user control. Six soft keys control a variety of functions depending on which menu is selected. The chorus radio system with single CD drive comes as standard.
A Bluetooth interface is available for mobile phones. The telephone function can be operated via the MMI, the multifunction steering wheel, and by speech control. The operator control for the optional navigation system takes its cues from the exemplary MMI system.
Finally, The Audi TT 3.2 V6 Quattro has a four out of a maximum five-stars rating in security. The V6 Quattro features ABS, traction control, driver, passenger and front side airbags, electronic differential lock and electronic stability program (ESP).
