The Bentley Continental GT Speed mixes speed and luxury in a way that anyone familiar with Bentley can appreciate. It has the power and speed that is typically associated with Ferrari, but the luxury that Bentley is known for. This makes it the perfect combination of speed and class.
Chief Engineer Ulrich Eichhorn has designed a car that drives like a racecar but is still luxurious enough to be called a Bentley. Keeping with the racecar feel, there are optional carbon ceramic disc brakes that anyone who is a fan of racing will have to have. The optional carbon ceramic brakes may come in handy since the Continental GT Speed is one of the fastest cars produced by Bentley, able to go over 200mph.
Bentley has also upgraded the appearance of the Continental GT Speed; it now sports a wider, lower air intake and radiator grill which provides an increased amount of airflow into the larger engine that is more upright than in previous models. The grill is also made using a dark tinted type of chrome which provides contrast to body color. It also incorporates larger tailpipes which help the Continental GT Speed achieve a sportier look.
The Continental GT Speed is equipped with 600bhp W12 engine that is able to produce 15 percent more torque and is nine percent more powerful than the standard Continental GT's 552bhp. Because the Continental GT Speed is built using lighter weighing components, along with the engine management system the Continental is more efficient and powerful. The Continental GT Speed has a top speed of 202mph and is able to go from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds.
The interior of the Continental GT Speed features a choice of Burr Walnut, Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneers along with Diamond quilted leather seats that feature an embroidered Bentley emblem. There is also indented leather headlining, a three spoke multi-function sports steering wheel, alloy foot pedals and a sports alloy gear shift. There is also a wide range of Mulliner Driving options available to further personalize your Continental GT Speed.
Another new innovation in this model is the attention that was paid to the aerodynamics. The aerodynamics of the Continental GT Speed helps it in reaching the high speeds it is capable of. It also insures the driver that while driving at higher speeds it will stay flat and not risk the chance of flipping.
