The BMW 750i is an excellent example of luxury meets technology. The 750i comes equipped with a 4.4 liter twin turbo one of which has four valves per cylinder. The Double-Vanos variable cam shaft timing and Valvetronic variable valve lift is also a great addition to the impressive engine that is able to produce 407bhp and 600Nm of torque. All of this power enables the 750i to go from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds where it tops out at a predetermined 155mph.

The 750i comes with a six speed automatic transmission along with BMW's advanced Dynamic Driving Control system which allows the driver the ability to change the set-up of the car by choosing from Comfort, Normal, Sport and Sport + modes. While the car is in one of these modes it is still able to modify the steering, throttle response and gear shift speed as determined by the road conditions and the driver's style. The 750i also comes with a double wishbone suspension in the front and a multi-link system in the rear.

BMW has included some of their latest technologies in the 750i and offers a few others as options that many drivers may feel compelled to add to their 750i's. Some of these options are the new night vision system that will alert the driver if a person or animal has entered the path of the car. There is also the front side view camera system that uses camera on the nose of the car to enable the driver to have a clearer view at an intersection. The Lane Departure Warning system is able to monitor road markings and can inform the driver if they veer into the other lanes of traffic. Another impressive addition is the Speed Limit Warning System that can actually read road signs and alert the driver if they go over the posted speed limit.

The 750i is also available in a long or short wheel base version with the extended version known as the 750Li which has an even more spacious rear seating area with plenty of extra leg room. The longer of the two versions is mostly used by buyers who employ drivers. Both models come loaded with the iDrive control system that has programmable buttons which makes it easier for them to access frequently used controls. The four zone air-conditioning system also helps make any drive much more comfortable. For those buyers and passengers who love their music the 750i comes with an 8gb music server that is able to store over 100 albums on the internal hard drive.

BMW also offers their Dynamic Stability Control + system as a standard option on all cars in the 7 Series. Included in this system is the Hill Start Assist system, Brake drying and pretensioning, Soft-stop and Brake Fade Compensation which were all designed to make the 7 Series a much safer and enjoyable driving experience.

With all of the power and options loaded into the 750i, it is still able to run rather efficiently averaging 24.8mpg on the combined cycle and emits 266g/km of CO2 which is quite impressive for a car of this stature.
