Exquisitely loaded with style, the BMW X3 3.0si is designed with a masculine look, yet has the appealing features of a beauty queen, favoring refinement over the tough look though while retaining similar off-road capabilities as most SUVs. This impeccably designed BMW X3 looks relatively small when compared with other SUVs and crossovers. Get right next to it and you can see right over the roof, lowering it would have made it pass for a wagon. The hood uses a distinctly sedan design.

The BMW X3 is a versatile Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), blending all-road capability and utility with sports car-like performance and handling. Newly styled 17-inch wheels are standard, with 18-inch wheels available as a stand-alone option. In summary, the performance enhancements, in true BMW spirit, ensured that X3 3.0si is a vehicle of choice for the driving enthusiast.

The styling enhancements inside and out distinguish the X3 3.0si, making this Sports Activity Vehicle even more elegant and comfortable. The front styling of the X3 3.0si is enhanced with a new front bumper that frames a new, slightly larger twin-kidney grill.

A new engine and transmission choices offer even greater performance providing all the comfort, versatility and dependability that BMW is well known for. The BMW X3 3.0si is powered by the award-winning aluminum/magnesium 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder petrol engine with four valve technology. With the new six-speed STEPTRONIC automatic and Hill Decent Control, the X3 3.0si goes from 0 - 60 mph in 7.1 seconds. Amazingly, this increase in performance does not come at the sacrifice of efficiency. An optional 6-speed manual is available.

Talking about security, X3 3.0si, is branded with an enhanced Dynamic Stability Control system that works in concert with standard XDrive, all-wheel drive as well as Brake Drying technology to improve emergency stopping capability in wet conditions.

Also, X3 3.0si is the first BMW SAV to include Dynamic Traction Control as part of DSC. At the touch of a button, DTC waits for a higher threshold of wheel-slip before engaging DSC functions. Other security features include; driver and passenger front and side curtain airbags, rear side curtain airbags, a passenger seat occupancy sensor, ABS brakes with brake force display.

Changes to the impressive interior layout started with cockpit being effectively raised and an improved Nevada upholstery. Soft-touch materials and a healthy amount of lustrous wood trim dress things up convincingly.

It is further ergonomically styled with comfortable seats. The layout yields a nearly perfect driving position while offering rear passengers a comfortable amount of legroom. The 71-cubic-foot cargo area gets a gold star as one of the most spacious among all compact SUVs.

It also features a premium audio system with an LC display that is DVD compatible, a 6-disc CD changer in the center console with an MP3 decoder, a 3-spoke steering wheel with multifunction audio controls a HiFi loudspeaker system, and the set up already in place for a mobile phone with Bluetooth and cruise control functions, power windows and electric locks and mirrors.

Want a car with a performance upgrade, additional safety features, revamped exterior styling, an increase in the level of interior refinement as well as new luxury and performance oriented options, then the BMW X3 3.0si is the car.
