Cadillac is a brand that has been around almost since the beginning of time, there is hardly anyone who is has not heard the name Cadillac or is familiar with the company. Cadillac has come a long way from the large tailfins; they are now sleeker and incorporate much of the technology available today. Today's Cadillac is a high-tech cutting edge piece of automobile craftsmanship that makes it a contender among other high end luxury automobiles in the same class.

In the latest installment of the CTS Cadillac has installed a stiffer body frame that allows for the CTS to feel firmer to the driver than other cars in the same class. The entry level CTS is equipped with a 208bhp 2.8 liter petrol powered V6, if you would like some extra power Cadillac also offers a 247bhp 2.9 liter V6 diesel powered version of their engine. If you're still longing for more power there are also the 307bhp 2.6 liter petrol V6 and the behemoth 556bhp 6.2 liter V8 that is able to go from 0-60 in a mind blowing 3.5 seconds. Whichever version you choose, you will be guaranteed to have all the power you could possibly want.

The 3.6 liter V6 should have all of the power many drivers require, it is capable of going from 0-60 in 6.3 seconds which is faster than other cars in the same range. The 6 speed automatic transmission uses wheel-mounted shift buttons to make the process easier on the driver. The engineers at Cadillac have also revamped the exterior looks of the CTS making them more dramatic, edgy and angular than previous models. The front fenders feature a complex panel and the changes don't stop there. There have also been improvements made to the rear which now features a squarer look and the newly designed LED powered lights also add to the dramatic flair of the CTS.

The interior of the CTS features hand stitched leather, a V-shaped center console and a touch screen control system that is located in the dash. There are also multi-adjustable leather front seats and the rear seats offer passengers enough room to be comfortable but not to truly stretch out their legs. Trunk space is what you would typically expect from a car of this nature, it offers 373 liters of storage space.

Cadillac has also included traction and stability control systems, tire pressure monitoring, adaptive bi-xenon front headlights that move for better night vision and a limited slip differential that should assist in avoiding accidents. There are also six airbags that come as standard equipment, including a full-length curtain airbag ad front airbags that adjust their position depending on the position of the passenger and the location of the seat.

Cadillac has done its best to insure that the CTS comes equipped with everything that any driver could possibly dream of. With all of the technology available to choose from, the CTS does an excellent job in combining the new with features that many drivers have grown accustomed to and expect from Cadillac.
