The Citroen C3 Picasso HDi most definitely shows gives you what you need in times like these when the price of oil is through the roof and everyone is reaching up and trying to take it all for themselves. With the C3 Picasso, you will not be one of those people very often due to the magnificent fuel economy that comes with stylishness and overall practicality.

The combined fuel economy for the Picasso comes to a mind-blowing 62.8mpg which is a treasure that cannot be found everywhere. This along with the low CO2 emissions, 119 to 130g/km, makes this MPV a great choice for the driver of today. The C3 Picasso is a treasure to look upon, with sleek and sexy curves; it will trick you out of believing that it is actually quite boxy. From the outside the Picasso would appear to be extremely tiny but the first things you will notice are the bold lines and its futuristic fashioning. When you step inside the vehicle however, it would seem as though you have gone through a portal and entered another dimension because of all of the space that you are given. The driver's seat can position a fully-grown, six-foot tall, man comfortably with another six-foot tall man sitting right behind him. Another of the features that will strike most as awe-inspiring is the panoramic sunroof and the giant windows that allow an amazing amount of light in on the dimmest of days.

The downside to this economically wonderful piece of machinery is that it suffers in terms of performance only turning out only 90bhp and reaching a top speed of 114mph. The vehicle can get from 0 to 60mph in 12.4 seconds. Unfortunately for those out there that love having something that they can use to race, this will not be the premier vehicle of choice for them.

Citroen most definitely had the idea of the family in mind with this vehicle and that most definitely shows in the safety features which include twin front airbags, standard ABS, and electronic brakeforce distribution or EBD. Along with these, the C3 Picasso also has backup sensors that help determine how close or far you may be from hitting another object.

The other great thing about the Citroen C3 Picasso is that it comes with a plethora of toys to play with. Some of the coolest things that come equipped with the C3 Picasso are the automatic windscreen wipers that adjust to the intensity of the rain, a speed-limiter that inhibits the MPV from exceeding a set speed, which can be overridden by simply pressing down on the accelerator, and on-board navigation for getting where you need to go.

For around £13,000 to £16,000, the C3 Picasso is a great MPV for the whole family. But you have to ask yourself if it is worth having a vehicle that is stylish, spacious, and economic over one that screams out power. But if it came down to practicality for you, then the Citroen C3 Picasso is definitely a top pick.
