The power of a Ford C-Max 2.0, coupled hydroelectric pump system that offers great feel and a Control Blade Independent Rear Suspension offers a smoother ride that could very well be worth giving a try all for the sheer thrill on the road. The C-Max 2.0 has three variants to choose from; 5 door 2.0 TDCi Titanium, 5 door 2.0 TDCi Zetec and the 5 door 2.0 TDCi Zetec powershift.

The Ford C-Max on a 2.0 TDCi engine can run from o to 62mph in 10.5 seconds with a top speed of 123 mph. This MAV is offered in 2 sizes, the 5-seat and the long wheel-based 7-seat Grand C-Max. Groomed in either Zetec or Titanium Trim, the latter offering the premium features.

The well-equipped Zetec gives these amazing basic features; Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Designer wheels, 16? 5-spoke alloy wheels, LED rear lights, Individually removable rear seats, Electrically operated heated door mirrors, Air conditioning, 3 individual tip and tumble rear seats, Trip computer, Portable music connection socket, Ford intelligent Protection System (IPS) with six airbags, Body colour, body sides moldings, Perimeter alarm, Privacy glass, Quickclear heated front windscreen, Aircraft-style front seatback folding trays and a Leather trimmed steering wheel.

The fully loaded Ford C-MaxTitanium has the edge of modern refinement and technology packed with all the features and equipments found in a Ford C-Max Zetec and more; 17? multi-spoke alloy wheels, Thatcham category 1 alarm, Front autowipers with rain sensor, Automatic headlights, Premium centre console, Sony CD with DAB audio, Cruise control, Body colour rear spoiler, Auto-dimming rear view mirror, Electrically operated rear windows with global opening/closing.

Added to its already impressive innovative technology and equipments is the safety features that impressed the judges of the Euro NCAP when it subjected the Ford C-Max to the most rigid, high impact test to give it the most coveted Euro NCAP five stars out of five rating for passive and active safety measures. Grand C-MAX scored maximum points for its protection of young infants in impact tests an impressive high score for protection of adults. These are the Intelligent Protection System (IPS) that includes Driver and Front Passenger airbags, Driver and Front Passenger side thorax airbags, side curtain airbags for both front and rear passengers. It also has a computer-optimized body structure with ultra-rigid safety cell and crumple zones, advanced lap and diagonal inertia seat belts with pre-tensioners and load-limiting retractors on all seats, and front height adjustable mounts, Isofix child seat mountings, anti sub-marining seat bases, powerful 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electrically operated windows with 'bounce-back' anti trap feature, allergy-tested interior.

The sprightly Ford C-Max 2.0 TDCi Zetec powershift incorporates the Ford Powershift transmission technology with its six-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. This advance innovation improves fuel efficiency by as much as ten percent compared with the conventional automatic transmission.

Over-all, the Ford C-Max 2.0 delivers power and space for the more adventurous and those people who less likely to take chances. With its amazing steering precision and cornering stability, its safety standards, and its size that is small enough to help it to get its passengers and cargo in all sorts of road situations, in a congested traffic or small parking space, and yet big enough to accommodate a size-able load of sports gears or the whole family jump packed in its safe roomy cabin. The Ford C-Max is definitely stronger and better, the car of choice in the MAV category.
