The Ford Galaxy is a five-door large multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) that was first introduced in 1995. It was first made with the Volkswagen Group but now it is entirely a Ford creation with and no longer shares it with the Volkswagen Group. It is designed with the elements of 'Kinetic Design' that is now seen in the new Ford units, although limited because its size. It got the typical 'Kinetic' designs like the trapezoidal grill, large wheel-arches and the angular headlights.

Ford Galaxy uses only the Ford engines; the Diesel 100 PS (74kw ; 99bhp ) and 125 PS (92 kW; 123 bhp) 1.8 litre format, and also 130 PS (96 kW; 128 bhp) and 140 PS (103 kW; 138 bhp) 2.0 TDCi versions, with 2.2 TDCi for added muscles; the Petrol Duratec 2.0 145 PS (107 kW; 143 bhp) variant and 2.3 litre petrol 161 bhp (120 kW; 163 PS) engine, and now a new 2.0 EcoBoost with better acceleration, and higher speed, reaching 135 mph (217 km/h) and accelerating from 0-60 mph in 8.5 seconds with the 203 hp (151 kW) engine.

Ford Galaxy is a wonderfully accommodating and refined 7-seat vehicle that fits a growing family. It is sportier and has a shapelier bonnet, bolder trapezoidal grille, new look fog lights, silver-coloured roof rails, new LED tail lights and, depending on the version, more chrome detailing on the side mouldings and door handles. The cabin is more luxurious. The Ford's 'flat-floor' seating system (where the second and third rows of seats individually fold to the floor) expands its carrying options to include cargoes making it a more versatile van. It has a new premium sound system, upgraded interior, partial or full leather trim options, blind spot information light that operates in the door mirrors and an adjustable speed limiter. Just a few to mention the wide advantage of Ford Galaxy's first-class driving quality. It offers the highest levels of space, comfort and advance technology. Beautiful inside and out, this people-mover is offered in the Edge, Zetec, Ghia, Titanium and TitaniumX trims.

The peace of mind is the best offer the Ford Galaxy has for a family car that accommodates all the nearest and dearest to the heart. The Ford Galaxy earned the top award, the maximum 5-star Euro NCAP rating for adult occupant safety. It's preventive, passive safety and protective features are fitted with utmost care and attention using the Intelligent Protection System (IPS) holding to a principle that an ounce of protection is always better. In the worst case scenario, Ford think far ahead by fitting the Ford Galaxy with active safety and protective features like the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with Traction Assist (TA) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Bi-xenon HID headlights, Interactive Vehicle Dynamics Control (IVDC) with Continuous Controlled Damping (CCD), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), and so much more for the best protection of the whole family.

With the first-class treatment with its plush interior, its space and size, it's easy handling on the road, a beautiful exterior and a very high safety and protection measure with a five-star badge from the Euro NCAP makes it the best family car ever.
