Spare the Cost not the Space

Our Rating: No Rating Available

The trend in today's car market especially with the rising fuel costs is small, smaller, and smallest. We want to get the most out of our money's worth and to do that we automatically reach for what seems to be the most logical option. While there is some logic to that line of thought, sometimes it just isn't enough to satisfy our transportation needs at the end of the day.

With stream lined outer appeal and plenty of room to spare, the Hyundai Sonata Range is not a compact vehicle by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, some may be put off at first by its initial bulk, but one look inside will cast many of those arguments to the wind. From the list of enticing features to the options under the hood, there's a wealth of reasons to seriously consider another look at a familiar face in the car industry.

Just making its way across the pond sales wise, the Hyundai Sonata Range has actually been around the block a time or two, just with a little less fanfare. Now, it's beginning to fill a niche in the market that many car buyers have longed for?that of an affordable luxury vehicle. Though it may look like a luxury vehicle on the outside, inside it has the heart of a sports car. Packing a rather powerful engine under the hood, the Hyundai Sonata Range is capable of reaching speeds of up to sixty miles per hour in just under eight seconds from a zero start with its top speed reaching an astonishing one hundred and forty three miles per hour. Despite the speed of acceleration, it's surprisingly low on fuel consumption allowing owners the peace of mind that they won't be stopping to fill up the tank at the end of every block. On average, one can travel nearly fifty seven miles per gallon in this beauty, making it a favorite choice among those on a budget.

Speaking of budgets, though the Sonata Range boasts high quality, it is a value through and through. Pricing on this model depending upon the options and trim you choose range from a low £16,900 to an affordable £20,500; a steal of a deal when compared to its market competition. With such a low price range one would think you would have to scrimp on features, right? Wrong. From extra leg room for passengers thanks to a roomy interior to a quality sound system just waiting for your next road trip, the Smartnav satellite navigation to the beauty of climate control, this is not a vehicle to be overlooked. Add to that the top notch safety features built in as standards to every Hyundai model and you are looking at a car that can take you places while delivering you there safe and sound.

So what say you fellow drivers? Is the newly updated look and interior splendor enough to turn your head and grab your attention? Or will this newly vamped model quietly make an exit fort with? One can only suppose at this point but I wouldn't be surprised if it garnered a larger market than in previous years. After all, we as consumers are always on the look out for that shiny new "toy" and this one packs a punch.
