Seat Alhambra TDI
The SEAT Alhambra TDI is a new diesel MPV for the more budget conscious driver. Whereas SEAT has previously sold only 138 bhp and 168 bhp 2.0 litre TDI vehicles, with the starting price of the 138 bhp being no less than £24,000, this new model with a 114 bhp is being sold from just £23,535, which is more than £500 cheaper than any of their previous models.
SEAT Leon FR
SEAT has found that when it comes to cars, one truism is that sports sells. Hence, the widening of the company’s FR performance sub-brand with the introduction of two new models, as well as the spicing up of the already existing range of vehicles.
SEAT Leon TwinDrive
The Ecomotive accounts at present for as much as 47 per cent of all SEAT sales in the United Kingdom, and the company is intending to increase that number with a new Leon plug-in hybrid Ecomotive, set for release in 2015.
SEAT Mii
The SEAT Mii completes the VW Group’s triptych of compact new city cars. The Mii is already on sale in Spain and will arrive in showrooms in the United Kingdom in two months in January, with the intention of taking on sister cars such as the Volkswagen Up! and the Skoda Citigo as well as more established rivals including the likes of the Toyota Aygo and the Fiat 500.
SEAT E-Altea
The plug-in hybrid Leon TwinDrive was taken for a test drive in recent times, but the head honchos at SEAT are also looking at creating an entirely electric vehicle as well. This model, which is referred to as the SEAT E-Altea, is a glimpse of what we can expect in around five years time, in 2016.
