Used Alfa Romeo 159 Cars and Second Hand 159's for sale

Alfa Romeo 159 cars are still on the market today. However, many used Alfa Romeo 159 cars are available. The car first came out in 2005, providing an ample supply of new Alfa Romeo 159 vehicles. The car is produced by an Italian manufacturer who first showed off the vehicle at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. The 159 built on the popular 156 model, replacing it and serving as a compact executive car.

In 2006, the car appeared at the Geneva Motor Show again, this time as a Sportwagon. During that same year, another variation on the nearly new Alfa Romeo 159 was made; the diesel model was launched with an automatic gearbox option. This option eventually made its way into other incarnations of the Alfa Romeo 159. Later, in 2007, the diesel model got another modification in the form of four wheel drive. The power output for the diesel model also increased during this same year.

2008 saw changes to the mechanics and interiors of the 159 models. This is the year when a V6 model came to be. The V6 model had front wheel drive configuration and could reach speeds of 250 km/h. 2008 was also the year when the Q2 limited slip differential was built into the cars. The models also began to weigh less, thanks to new aluminium components that were lighter. Then, in 2009, the car got a turbo charged engine, called the TBi. In 2010 the petrol engines in the cars were retired, excepting for the 1750TBi.

In 2006, the Alfa Romeo 159 was awarded the Design Award by Auto Bild. In 2006 it got another design award at the Fleet World Honours and in 2007 it was named Die Besten Autos 2007 in the Import Category.
