Used Honda Jazz Cars and Second Hand Jazz's for sale

The Honda Jazz, which is sold as the Honda Fit in some parts of the world, including its country of origin, is designed and manufactured by the Honda Motor Company in Japan. First produced in Suzuka, it made its debut in 2001 as a 'Global Small Car Platform' model.

Honda Jazz cars intended for the British market entered production at the Honda UK plant in Swindon and began being exported to Europe at the start of 2002. The Jazz soon overtook its main rival, the Toyota Corrolla, in terms of popularity and sales.

There are six worldwide models of the Honda Jazz, the two European versions being the 1.2 i-DSI and the 1.4. The five-door hatchback is known and loved for its spacious interior cabin, given the fact that externally it is actually a quite a small car, and its generous load carrying capacity, thanks to its H-shaped torsion beam rear suspension. The Jazz is particularly remarkable for the unusual location of its fuel tank, which is under the front seats.

In 2007 anyone who owned a used Honda Jazz, were given a taste of what they were missing when the second generation model was unveiled to the public, before going on general sale the following year. The new car had a more stylish bonnet, new-look bumpers, a redesigned front grille and was both longer and wider. The range now comprises 1.2L, 1.4L and 1.5L i-VTEC engined variants, capable of producing 89, 99 and 117bhp respectively.

Honda Jazz sales soared to as many as 3.5 million units over its first decade of production and the car has always received exemplary praise from reviewers for its versatility, fuel efficiency and quality. It has been voted the second best car on the UK roads by a customer satisfaction survey.
