A History Of The Land Rover Freelander
The Land Rover Freelander is a compact Sports Utility Vehicle, or SUV manufactured by the car brand Land Rover. It is more commonly demanded in its four-wheel drive version; however, a two-wheel drive version of this car is also available. The Freelander is a relatively old car model, with its birth only being in the late 1990s (1997).
The Freelander has been in development ever since the 1980s, but due to some technical, and financial issues, it did not come out up until 1997. When it came out that year, however, it became the best selling four-wheel drive car in Europe up until 2002. The second generation of this car came out in 2006, with everything about it being upgraded and modified.
The Land Rover Freeloader came in many different types of models. All the variations, however, were still based off the standard compact SUV look. The most different versions were already the convertible-like look, and the van-like look it tried out. They were not, however, as popular as the five-door SUV type was.
This car is available in both manual and automatic transmissions, both of which have five-speed shifting capacities. Look for the Freelander by Land Rover and get ready to experience SUV luxury.
