Used Land Rover Range Rover Sport Cars and Second Hand Range Rover Sport's for sale

Created by Jaguar Land Rover, the Range Rover Sport is a luxury SUV. As a smaller version of the Range Rover, it has a similar platform to that of the Discovery. Since it was first introduced, Range Rover Sport sales have shown it to be one of Land Rover's best models.

Introduced in 2005, it was originally named the Range Stormer. The first design was similar in terms of exterior design, however, it was nowhere near the finished model. Over the years the Ranger Sport cars have been available with four different motors, namely the Jaguar AJ V8, the supercharged AJ V8, the turbo diesel V8 and the turbo diesel V6.

The used 2006 Range Rover Sport comes with a 300 horsepower 4.4 litre V8 with a 4W drive. The following year a new model was released, similar to the last but with a supercharged version offering 4.2 litre V8 with 390 horsepower. In 2008 the Ranger Rover Sport cars were available in two trim levels: the SC or the HSE. Additional features included more cargo space, improved air conditioning and heat-reducing infra red-deflecting glass.

The 2009 secondhand Range Rover Sport model came with a change in appearance, new wheels, a variety of colours and enhanced metal vent bezels. It was also the first to offer the Rover Dynamic Response suspension system. Two engines are available in the 2010 nearly new Range Rover Sport: a 5.0 litre V8 with 375 horsepower or the supercharged version with 510 horsepower. Then in 2011, a smaller Range Rover Sport was introduced, available with a better Terrain Response System in soft sand.

Range Rover Sport cars have featured numerous times on the television programme Top Gear. One of the main features that this model is praised for is how adaptable it is. For instance, the fact that it can apparently drive through approximately 28 inches of water without the engine flooding has even attracted interest from the military.
