Used Nissan 350Z Cars and Second Hand 350Z's for sale

The Nissan 350Z was the result of Nissan's attempt to keep its Z car line in existence following the withdrawal of the Nissan 300ZX from the United States market in 1996. Nissan decided to recreate a modern version of its earlier 240Z model but the designs were repeatedly modified, largely regarding the engine and style, with the 350Z being the eventual result.

Chronology

Launched at the Detroit Motor Show in 2002, the Nissan 350Z went on sale later that year as part of Nissan's Z car line. The car was, and remained, a two seat sports car with rear wheel drive and two doors.

The Coupe model was the first to be launched in 2003 with bulging bumpers and sloping fastback style roof. A Roadster convertible model was released in 2004, with an electrical retractable soft top roof.

In 2005 a special edition was launched to mark the 35th anniversary of Nissan. This special edition had a modified interior and exterior (with new colours available), greatly improving the styling, and came with an upgraded engine, alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers, an improved sound system and the option of a navigation system.

In 2006 a 300 horse power Rev Up engine which had been available for 6 speed manual gear box versions of the vehicle, now came as standard for all Nissan 250Z cars. Other modifications included rear taillights consisting of LEDs, larger headlights and a new style of front bumper.

In 2007 modest changes were made, with a new 306 hp engine and redesigned bonnet to accommodate the new engine.

Achievements and Benefits

Nissan 350Z cars offer good performance and handling, and so second-hand Nissan 350Z's can offer excellent value for money. Winner of the 2004 Top Gear Magazine Car of the Year award and voted the Japanese Performance Car of the Year 2007 in TopSpeed Magazine, Nissan 250Z sales reflect a product of quality that can be relied upon.
