New Suzuki Swift EV Features a Hybrid Range Extender
Japanese automaker Suzuki has unveiled the details of its latest concept vehicle that employs a plug-in hybrid range extender system at the Tokyo Motor Show. The system enables the Suzuki Swift EV to cover up to around 18 miles on electricity alone, before its small capacity petrol motor kicks in to charge the lithium-ion batteries.
