I have successfully sold my car on autobweb.  I have completed a comments page to send to others who wish to advertise their vehicles.  I stated that they need to be really careful, as there are people out there trying to con us honest people.  I had three separate people trying to get me to give them my details, name, contact, etc so they could send me a cheque in excess of the asking price to cover shipping costs.  They assured me that they wouldnt come to collect the car until the cheque had been cashed and I had forwarded the remainder of the money to the shipping company.
 
However, I was very cautious and didnt send any details.  If they are genuine people, they will pcik up the phone and arrange a cash payment which I was lucky enough to find.
 
Thanks very much.  I will tell my friends to advertise on your site.
