The AMC Gremlin was only available in the US unlike all of the other cars on this list. However, it is included on our list because the Gremlin was a lazy car produced simply by hacking off the rear end of the gorgeous AMC Hornet. The front of the car had a long low profile like a fast cruiser, the rear looked like a tall hatchback, and the windscreen wipers would you believe were vacuum operated.
