
In the world of luxury cars or even vehicles in general, Rolls Royce has been a very important and popular brand. First founded in 1906 in Manchester, England, the brand was split in 1973 due to some financial troubles and Rolls Royce Motors was formed. Today Rolls Royce Motor Cars produces out of England but is wholly owned by BMW, but despite all the changes that the brand has experienced Rolls Royce Motor Cars still produces one of the finest luxury cars known to humanity and one of it is the Rolls Royce Phantom.
The Rolls Royce Phantom brand name has long been in existence since 1925 as the Rolls Royce Phantom I. The Phantom name has had over 9 incarnations over the past 88 years with its most recent incarnations being the Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe in 2007 and the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe in 2008. The Phantom series’ first incarnation the Phantom I was the Rolls Royce second 50 Horsepower model while its latest incarnation the Coupe is one of Rolls Royce’s vehicles designed for an urban setting. Its specs include a 6 speed automatic transmission system and a V12 Engine, reminiscent of most of Rolls Royce’s luxury car brands. The Coupe is also handmade allowing the manufacturers to ensure that the Vehicle’s quality is not undermined.
