BMW has launched a Competition Package for the class-fronting BMW M3 Coupe to improve the unique handling dynamics of the model. The company will start to sell the package on March 20th.
BMW has launched a Competition Package for the class-fronting BMW M3 Coupe to improve the unique handling dynamics of the model. The company will start to sell the package on March 20th.
The M3s new Competition Package includes an enhanced Electronic Damper Control with the latest Sport setting, which enhances the already standard dynamic driving of the car when combined with the 10mm lower suspension. Its Dynamic Stability Control Plus feature, which has a lower electronic intervention, enables a more enthusiastic style of driving. The package is completed by an exclusively made19-inch light alloy wheels, inspired by the E46 M3 CSL.
As an addition to the 52,730 pounds OTR price of the standard BMW M3 Coupe, the companys Competition Package costs 3,315 pounds.
Auto Start-Stop technology is a standard feature of all the BMW M3 versions and to improve the overall efficiency, the BMW M3 Coupe, Saloon and Convertible, are fitted with Brake Energy Regeneration, on-demand employment of ancillary systems and lightweight engineering standards.
The use of the Auto Start-Stop technology, on both manual and M DCT transmission-fitted vehicles, is first for a BMW model. Presently, there is no other high performance vehicle with such capability.
The benefits provided by Auto Start-Stop in all BMW M3 models include substantial reductions in CO2 emissions and more efficient fuel consumption.
