Alfa Romeo scoops beautiful car award

Owners of used Alfa Romeos can now be satisfied of the brand's style.
Looks play a part in a car's overall rating and an Alfa Romeo model has been given an accolade for its style.Top Gear magazine named the Alfa 8C Spider as the Most Beautiful Car of the Year.
Damien Dally, UK brand communications manager for Alfa, said that it is a "sensational supercar".
Only 500 of the cars were made and they are worth approximately £174,000 each.
But people looking for a more accessible used Alfa Romeo in the future could try the Alfa MiTo or next year's Alfa Giulietta.
According to the company, these cars have been inspired by the 8C Competizione and the Spider.
The Giulietta will make its world debut in March next year at the Geneva Motor Show.
Its appearance includes features such as ribbing on the sides and concealed handles on the rear doors.
Alfa Romeo says that the car is meant to bring together "sportiness and elegance".
