Another industry award for Fiat 500

The Fiat 500 has been voted as the best car to be used in the city.

The popular city car from manufacturer Fiat continues to be respected by the media, as it has scooped a new award.

Readers of Business Car magazine have voted the Fiat 500 as the 'City Car of the Year', adding to honours the vehicle has already won from the likes of Car Magazine and Fifth Gear.

Buyers of the 500 benefit from a choice of three ultra-low emission engines, three different trim levels and outstanding value for money, with the cheapest option starting at £8,100.

Tristan Young, editor-in-chief at Business Car, said: "The Fiat 500 has captured both hearts and minds ever since it was first revealed. The low emissions and great running costs combine with the 500's desirability to make a worthy winner."

Andrew Humberstone, managing director at Fiat Group Automobiles UK, added that it was pleasing that customers are still loving the vehicle despite it being on the market for over a year.

Writing for the Times, Jeremy Clarkson stated of the Fiat 500 that "you come away from an experience behind the wheel absolutely loving it".
