Audi Q7 boasts clean diesel technology
14 September 2009Motorists who always try and buy new or used cars that have minimal impact on the environment and human health may be impressed by some new technology that features in the Audi Q7.
The manufacturer explained it has fitted the SUV with a clean diesel system.
It said this development is capable of removing up to 90 per cent of nitrogen oxide from a vehicle's exhaust fumes.
The group pointed out this gas is thought to have a much worse effect on human health than carbon dioxide.
As a result of the technology, the Q7's engine complies with European emissions standards not due to come into force until 2014.
Visitors to this week's Frankfurt International Motor Show will also get the chance to see an Audi A4 fitted with the system.
In addition to this, the German event will witness the unveiling of the manufacturer's A3 1.2 TFSI and S5 Sportback.
