Award may inspire motorists to consider used Ford Fiesta

The Ford Fiesta has been named Car of the Year by Auto Express.
More motorists may be inspired to buy a used Ford Fiesta after hearing about the model's latest success.The vehicle has been named Car of the Year 2009 by Auto Express.
Magazine editor-in-chief David Johns claimed the people testing the model had high expectations and the motor still managed to impress.
He praised the car's "beautifully weighted controls" and "nimble chassis".
Mr Johns stated: "The sleek exterior makes many rivals look dated, while the cutting-edge cabin is as distinctive as it is attractive."
Commenting on the Auto Express honour, managing director of the triumphant carmaker Nigel Sharp said receiving seven nominations from the publication had left the company "on a high".
Meanwhile, a recent event at the Orsett Showground in Essex may have also increased interest in used Ford Fiestas.
The manufacturer displayed the supermini alongside its Kuga at the Anansekrom festival, with more than 350 show attendees requesting test drives.
