BMW releases celebratory X5

Owners of used BMW X5 models may already be aware the manufacturer has released a special celebratory version of the auto.

The xDrive35d 10-Year Edition has been launched to mark the fact the car has been in production for a decade.

Motorists interested in snapping up the vehicle may need to be quick though, as it is already available to buy and numbers are to be limited.

BMW revealed it is building 2,000 examples of the auto, with about 200 destined for the UK.

The car comes with comfort access, a panoramic glass sunroof, Matt Aluminium roof rails and exterior trim, leather upholstery and 20-inch Y-spoke light alloy wheels.

Prices for the model start from £54,075.

Since its UK launch in 2000, approaching 63,000 examples of the X5 have been sold in the UK.

Therefore, motorists looking for a second-hand edition of the car may find there are a significant number to choose from.
