BMW has recently released its new 3 Series models, which have noticeably improved styling and performance upgrades, as well as cleaner technology.
The BMW 3 Series models are all equipped with new entertainment systems and steering wheel designs. The whole range also has subtly tweaked suspension to improve comfort while driving.
The most notable changes are the engine upgrades, with an improved 2.0-litre diesel engine on the BMW 320d to generate up to 181bhp of power and 280lb ft of torque. Fuel economy has also improved, while CO2 emissions have gone down by 3g/km. The same changes were applied in the BMW 318d version, while the engine of the BMW 325d gives more power but fewer emissions.
Meanwhile, the BMW 335is impressive 3.0-litre petrol engine features the same power as before, but switching to a different turbocharger has improved fuel economy and lowered CO2 emissions by as much as 22g/km.
Nothing beats the BMW 320d Efficient Dynamics Saloon in terms of efficiency. Special tyres and wheels, lowered suspension and longer gearing contribute to lowering CO2 emissions to 109g/km. In addition: a sophisticated flywheel works to lessen vibration at low revs for economical driving.
The upgrades in the cars efficiency give the BMW 3 Series more appeal while it remains unsurpassed when it comes to interior quality, refinement and driver appeal.
