Together with blue aluminium brake callipers, these features are now offered as standard on the latest BMW X6M.
Meanwhile, the rear of the facelifted BMW X6 features horizontal twin LED light banks that highlight the width of the vehicle. Other external modifications include new paint finishes, in a choice of Orion Silver metallic, Midnight Blue metallic or Marrakech Brown metallic, and double spoke 19-inch alloy wheels (for BMW X6 xDrive 50i variant).
Aside from the new BMW M Performance tri-turbo diesel engine line-up, the new vehicle also offers five engine options -V8 xDrive50i, the range topping 555 bhp X6M, six-pot xDrive35i and diesel-powered xDrive30d and xDrive40d. The xDrive30d is available with the automaker's nitrogen oxide-reducing BluePerformance Technology, which is also featured in the revised engine line-up of the BMW 1-series.
The interior of the revised BMW X6 boasts a standard leather interior, which for the first time is available in Vermilion Red. Its nappa leather choices come in either Ebony White or Black.
The revised BMW X6 will go on sale in June at a starting price of £46,725 for the xDrive30d (£340 more than the existing model) and increasing to £85,680 for the top-of-the-line X6 M. The M Performance tri-turbo diesel X6 will be available from £62,260.
