One of the most popular supercars in the world - the Bugatti Veyron - will be the star in a huge 'Fast and Furious' sale of 350 used cars including coupés, sports cars, motorcycles, convertibles and performance vehicles at the BCA Blackbushe auction centre situated near Blackbushe Airport, in Camberley, Surrey on 5 June.
The vehicles have been put up for sale by Black Horse and Lex Autolease and makes up what is considered as among the most valuable auction of contemporary cars ever held in the UK. And the limited edition 2006 Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 will be the ultimate star of the sale.
Fitted with an eight-litre petrol unit that can generate a top speed of 253.5mph, the Veyron is the fastest accelerating and decelerating street-legal car on earth. It boasts magnesium paddles behind the steering wheel and a seven-speed DSG sequential transmission. The Veyron on sale is finished in dark-blue metallic over silver metallic and has only run 7,341km since it was registered on 4 July 2006.
"We have already taken many enquiries about the Bugatti Veyron as they rarely come onto the market. The Lex Autolease and Black Horse brand names have a strong following at BCA and this spectacular event is sure to generate a lot of interest", said BCA Account Manager Alan Gupwell.
Although the Veyron may be the undisputed star of the event, there are also a range of other performance and exotic models to attract bidders, such as a 2005 Ferrari F430 F1 Coupé, a 2004 Maserati 4200 Cambiocorsa Coupé and a 2007-registered Aston Martin DB9 V12 Coupé. Furthermore, six Harley-Davidson motorcycles are also among the 350 listed vehicles.
The 'Fast and Furious' sale is open for everyone and will start on 5 June at 10:30 AM. The Supercar section will open at around 2:00 PM.
