Chevrolet Spark is a cheap and cheerful city car
30 November 2009
What Car? found the Chevrolet Spark to be cheap and cheerful.
The Spark is cheep and cheerful and therefore could tempt used Chevrolet drivers to trade in their second-hand model.Described as a fitting replacement for the Chevrolet Matiz, the entry-level vehicle has a 67 bhp, 1.0-litre engine.
The standard version of the motor comes with a "limited kit", according to the reviewer. However, the Spark+ comes with air conditioning, electric front windows and central locking.
In addition, this model has a stereo with USB connectivity.
People in the market for remote central locking, body-colour door handles and mirrors and an 80 bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine may also benefit from purchasing the LS trim version.
When considering why people should buy one of the autos, the critic said: "Apart from the low cost, the Spark is a stylish little car, with a more aggressive look than some cutesy city cars."
The Spark was the star of the show at the recent 2009 Young Creative Chevrolet Awards, which celebrated the talents of emerging artists.
