Chevrolet UK is set to introduce the new class-winning Captiva LTZ onto the local market. The car has been hailed as the new flagship of the brand's range, alongside the Cruze saloon and Spark city car, which clearly highlight Chevrolet's aim to successfully enter the UK market.

The new Chevrolet Captiva LTZ is available in manual or auto gearboxes, priced at £27,305 and £28,630, respectively.

Fitted with standard features including climate control, full leather, cruise control, electrically-adjustable driver's seat, electrically-folding door mirrors, bold 18" alloys, automatic wipers and lights, privacy glass, unique rear light clusters and ESC, by far the LTZ is the best-equipped Captiva ever offered by Chevrolet.

Moreover, this range-topping version also offers two fresh innovations never before seen in its forerunners, namely a touch-screen satellite navigation unit with a 7" display and a reverse-parking camera.

In addition to audible distance sensors, the display screen of the reverse parking camera assists drivers when squeezing through tight places, and offers a better complete view of the car, displaying a view lower than what the driver can see through the rear window.

Meanwhile, the satellite navigation includes postcode search and Points of Interest, plus USB slot compatibility for video and music clips, which is a standard specification on both Captiva LTZ variants.

Both variants -the manual and auto - are powered by a 2.0-litre VCDi engine delivering 150PS power. The manual variant offers combined fuel economy of 38.2mpg and emits 197g/km of CO2, while the auto variant offers 32.8mpg fuel economy and 225 g/km CO2 emission.
