Citroen DS3 has substance
31 December 2009
The Citroen DS3 is not just a triumph of style, according to a review.
A car by Citroen has been praised by a review for having practical benefits as well as good looks.Motoring publication Auto Express analysed the DS3 and deemed it to have "plenty of substance to match the style".
The car was praised for the comfort of its cabin, the supportive nature of the seats and the well-devised positioning for the driver.
Additionally, its colour-coded key fob and three-spoke steering wheel were singled out as aesthetically pleasing.
The Citroen DS3 did, however, fall down in terms of its technological advancement.
Auto Trader concluded that its suspension was "entirely conventional".
It did, however, add that a test drive would be necessary before a full understanding of the vehicle can be gathered.
The Daily Express recently named the Citroen D3 Picasso as 2009's best family car, adding to other awards it received from Top Gear and What Diesel.
It had been in competition for the title with the Skoda Yeti.
