A woman has won a prize draw after buying a Daihatsu Sirion.
A lucky woman from Nottingham is celebrating after winning the cash equivalent of her new Daihatsu Sirion in a national competition.Glenis Lindley saw her name picked out at random, after she was automatically entered into the prize draw when she recently bought the vehicle.
Daihatsu's 100-strong dealer network all ran the campaign for customers buying a vehicle from the fleet between August and September, with the winner reimbursed with the cost of their vehicle in cash.
Over 1,500 entries took part in the competition.
Ms Lindley said: "I'm overjoyed and totally overwhelmed that I have got a car that I was more than willing to spend my well-earned cash on for nothing."
Paul Tunnicliffe, managing director of Daihatsu Vehicle Distributors, added: "We know Mrs Lindley will be extremely happy with her Sirion for many years to come."
A review of the Sirion by television show Fifth Gear last year stated the vehicle offered a large amount of interior space, despite its diminutive dimensions.
