Daihatsu looks to increase its familiarity at shopping centre

Daihatsu is to showcase some of its fleet at a shopping centre in Leicester in a bid to boost brand awareness.
In an attempt to familiarise more used car drivers with the Japanese car brand Daihatsu, a dealer is to display a range of the vehicles in a shopping mall.Daihatsu dealer Bob Gerard Ltd is to display examples of the fleet at the High Cross Mall in Leicester, outside the store of John Lewis.
The vehicles will be on show to shoppers between February 23rd and March 2nd, with the dealer trying to explain the benefits of the compact car manufacturer.
Among the benefits of the range is that they qualify for low levels of vehicle excise duty, while supporting the environment and having fuel efficient engines.
Also, Daihatsu was rated in the top three in terms of proven reliability in the Which? Car magazine's Car Awards 2008.
Some of the vehicles from the fleet which may interest used car buyers include the Sirion, Materia and Terios.
The Sirion is a five-door supermini which can be bought with a host of engines, ranging from a 1.0-litre petrol to a 1.5-litre petrol for motorists wanting a more sporty drive.
