Discounted VW Polo could prove tempting

Volkswagen has announced some of its scrappage scheme deals.
Motorists looking to buy a car may find they can get a great deal on a new Volkswagen Polo next week.The manufacturer has pointed out the model will be available for £6,345 from next Monday to those people who qualify to take part in the government's scrappage scheme.
It suggested the supermini was a great choice for buyers as it offers "superb levels of build quality, refinement and safety levels".
Alternatively, the World Car of the Year will be available to participants in the programme for less than £12,000.
The latest Volkswagen Golf - which was recently honoured with the award - will cost from £11,585.
Meanwhile, people will be able to drive away in the Fox city car for £4,845.
To be eligible for the scheme, motorists must have owned a car that is at least ten years old for a minimum of 12 months.
Drivers who do not qualify may find they can secure a great deal on a used Volkswagen instead.
